Day 4: Will Stevens
Kathy Cary, former Collegiate alum and owner of Lily's Bistro, has been the person that I have enjoyed meeting the most through my capstone experience. She was able to provide unique insight about the food business as well as tell us about her experience as a restaurant owner for thirty years. She said that one of the keys to staying in business for so long and maintaining success was having a good, hard-working, loyal, and honest staff because it allows the restaurant to function better as a whole. Grayson and I were also able to enjoy some of her great food and receive a tour of the kitchen to witness where the magic takes place.
