Day 4 - Meredith Schulten

Today was sort of chaotic. It was too windy to go rowing today so I went to the Hilton Head Crew boat house to watch the high school team. Only 2 of their shells went out on the water today, and only for a short while, because they had fixed a piece on their shells and were testing them before loading up for their regatta in Orlando. They had a lot to do while loading the trailer for their trip to Orlando. They had to get out all the shells they were using in the competition and de-rig them, which took a long time. They put all the oars in the trailer along with the chairs, coolers, equipment, etc. Then every team member was needed to put the shells onto the trailer and to strap them to the trailer. Although it was cold and windy, I still had a good time because everyone on the team is so fun and energetic. They were blasting music from their speakers, dancing, and yelling at each other (not in a mean way). I am including a picture of the trailer because loading the boats in trailer.
